Chef John Jerabek grew up in Casco, Wisconsin, a small town between Green Bay and Door County. At the age of 19, John started working in the restaurant industry, traveling from Milwaukee to Phoenix and back again. Upon returning to Wisconsin, John moved to Madison and worked under Tory Miller and Odessa Piper at L’Etoile. Most recently, John worked as executive chef at the highly acclaimed Sundara Inn & Spa in the Wisconsin Dells. John enjoys working at Fresco because he appreciates cooking with fresh, local ingredients (you'll find him at Farmers' Market every Saturday). In his free time, John enjoys going to the movies, trying out new restaurants, and spending time outdoors.
